Born in Mataram, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Roby Alfares, known as Afuukatz, is an emerging visual artist working with various media. His journey began with illustration (2016–2022) before transitioning to fine art, where he continues to develop his unique style.His works present figurative forms and geometric elements, inspired by self-reflection, personal experiences, and interactions with his surroundings. Afuukatz's background and environment shape his art, allowing him to explore freedom and depth in expression. His transition from illustration to fine art broadened his perspective, strengthening his commitment to creating thought-provoking and emotionally resonant works.He has exhibited at Art Jakarta Scene with Studio Dinding Luar, Nandur Srawung, and group shows at 2Madison Gallery, among others. For Afuukatz, art is a lifelong journey, and he strives to leave a meaningful impact through his creations, offering a reflection on the human experience.
